Cross Over

In this crossover CD the Bläserphilharmonie Mozarteum Salzburg conducted by Albert Schwarzmann presents a programme exploring a great variety of styles and epochs and representing all forms of wind music. The recording also offers a direct comparison of various types of instrumentation in international wind orchestras, whereby original works as well as arrangements for symphonic wind orchestra with an international orientation or special versions for the Bläserphilharmonie Mozarteum Salzburg can be heard. Tribute is also paid to the traditional Austrian wind band orchestration, intended for the best possible impressive sound in open-air performances.
